2010 Letterpress Calendar

I’ve been taking letterpress classes at Pyramid Atlantic Art Center in Silver Spring, and I’m finally embarking on a real project, participating in a 2011 letterpress calendar project to benefit the art center.

Everyone picks a month (I’m January) and is responsible for designing and printing about 100 usable copies of their page of the calendar. I think the calendars will go up for sale sometime in November.

I just finished my design last night and sent the Illustrator file in to be converted to a photopolymer plate. I’ll start printing next week. Exciting!
