Photo of the Day: Mr. Lincoln
Our friend Rachel came to visit this past weekend — our first houseguest in the new place! On Saturday, after a trip to Thai Square, we did a nighttime driving tour of the monuments along the National Mall. We did walk up to the Lincoln Monument, my favorite to visit at night. And we lucked into a great park ranger-led lecture about Lincoln and the Civil War (especially awesome given that it was so late — 10 p.m.).
